Paper mosaic tiles can turn crafts and art projects into works of art. With a little imagination, the projects can be endless...

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper
  • Scissors or Paper Shredder
  1. Step 1

Decide what type of project that you want to do. You also need to think about the colors you want to use. Do you want solid colors, patterns or a mixture of both. Also, determine the size of tiles you want to use.

  2. Step 2

There are different types of paper that you can use. For example, wallpaper scraps, card stock or paint chips from a paint store to name a few. You would not want to use a thin paper like tissue paper or even something as lightweight as typing paper. You need the paper to be thick enough to hold up to the glue you would be using.

  3. Step 3

Cut the paper into the shapes that you want. They can be square or irregular. They can be cut with scissors, run through a paper shredder or you can tear them for a different effect. This is not hard to do but it can be time consuming.
When you decide on your project, use a contrasting background so the color between the paper tiles will look more like grout.
