How to Wear a Classic White T-Shirt With Style
A white T-shirt is one basic piece of apparel that no fashion-forward femme should be without. You can dress up a white tee to create a sophisticated look; you can incorporate it into another outfit to give it an edge; and you can even dress it down -- that's right, dress a white tee down -- for an easy casual look. The key to making a white T-shirt look stylish is accessories.

1
Decide if you prefer a crew-neck or V-neck tee. This decision will come down to mostly personal preference, but know this: The crew neck is more of a classic upscale look, while the V-neck is viewed as an edgier casual look.
-
2
Choose the correct T-shirt. Look closely at the cut, shape and material. Make sure your T-shirt flatters your upper body as much as possible. For example, if you are large-chested choose a T-shirt with a V-neck and if possible one that helps define the waist (this will help create an hourglass shape) in a medium-weight material like cotton. Remember that basics are the hardest things to shop for; you may need to look around before you find the white tee that really flatters your figure.

Accessorize! Accessories are most important, because they will make your simple white T-shirt into a statement. Consider: A scarf is probably the easiest and chic-est way to add style to a white t-shirt; chunky jewelry like big necklaces and bracelets will dress up a t-shirt; hats come in every style, so it should be simple to find one that speaks your language and looks great with your white T. In lieu of one of these, add a jacket or vest if you're at a loss.

Change it up from time to time. If you always wear ballet flats with skinny jeans, try switching to a wide-leg jean or a riding boot. Just using different accessories and basics will make the T-shirt and your style look fresh and new.
