If you are looking for financial aid for a future college student or maybe you might be thinking about going to college. Here are some steps on completing your forms for financial aid and qualifying for federal student loans and grants.

  • FAFSA Form Completed
  • Credit Score
  1. Step 1
    Your student loan consolidation will determine on your personal credit score.

    Your Credit Score* You need to do some research on your credit score. This can determine how hard it will be to get any kind of student loan or student grant for college. If you do not have really good credit try and get a family member to co-sign that has a good credit score. This will help your get approved for your loan.

    Apply for the best student loans* Research online on financial student loans. You must apply with your personal information such as your social security number and address and such. When applying for combination loan consolidates your existing loans at the same time you are applying for tuition loans.

    Completing your FAFSA form* You must fill out this form to get any kind of student loan. When you finish completing this form then apply for the Federal Perkins Loan or Stafford Loan. Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you save any kind or information on your personal loan and your contact.
  • Make sure its a real site when filling out your fafsa form. Some may not be real.

on 4/3/2009 I tried a loan from my son's school -- it worked well and they want to keep you there so they give you the loans.
