There are hundreds of dating sites each claiming to enable anyone to find that "perfect" person, often referred to as "Mr. Right." How do you know if these sites will produce any such person? Keep in mind there is no ideal person, but do think about what interest you and what qualities you are seeking in another person. Write down some things that you find interesting in a person of the opposite sex.

Be honest with yourself and think about what you are really searching for when it comes to finding Mr. Right. Don't grasp for the impossible. Be realistic. Remember, the qualities that you are seeking in someone might just be the very same qualities that someone else is also seeking in you.

Take your time in getting to know the people you come into contact with on the Internet. Never give out personal information at first and though this person may appear to be Mr Right, remember, patience is a virtue. Finding Mr. Right on the Internet is like meeting someone in reverse. You first meet their inner self and then meet them face to face.

When you begin to strike up a conversation with someone on the Internet, enjoy getting to know them. The more you know about this person, the more comfortable you will feel when meeting them for the first time. Share in their interest. Ask questions. Find out their likes and dislikes. Take your time. If they are in too much of a hurry, be wary.

Play it safe. Use your best judgement. If and when you do decide to meet this potential Mr. Right, meet in a public place. Never go anywhere alone with this person until you are more sure about who they are and if they too are looking for Ms. Right.... and who knows, this person might just be Mr Right! Good luck!
