How to Have a Baby Shower that is Safari Theme

A baby shower that is safari theme can be perfect for a baby girl or baby boy on the way! Safari is a neutral baby shower theme that is full of possibilities! You can find many coordinating products that will tie the event all together. Here are some great ways to incorporate this theme into a baby shower.

1. 

   Before the baby shower begins, start off by looking for invitations. Online there are terrific baby shower invitations sold from various companies that you can have customized or shipped to you blank and do it yourself. Look for safari or jungle theme ones. Most companies offer thank you cards with the same theme. You can also find address labels and stickers to seal the envelopes with that are safari theme.

   Next, think about the tables at the baby shower. Bright colored table cloths and balloons in the center of the table would look great with a safari stuffed animal to pull it all together. Some examples of stuffed animals that you could use for the center of the tables are: lion, monkey, giraffe, gorilla, camel, horse, zebra and hippo.

   Continue the safari theme for the baby shower with the decorations. You could decorate with tall indoor house plants that you find at your local gardening store. Place them in pots and spread them throughout the shower for an outdoor feel. You could even put little stuffed animals hanging out of the trees!

   The baby shower cake could have a safari theme as well. Chocolate icing with bright green trees, assorted safari animals piped in icing and "Welcome to the World, Little Monkey" across the cake! So adorable! Cookie trays are also a wonderful addition to a shower! You could have some baby theme cookies such as baby bottle and baby stroller shapes.    For baby shower favors you could have labels made for favor boxes that have a safari theme. There are countless websites devoted to baby shower favors that will customize your choices too.
