Things You'll Need:
- 2 to 3 large eggs
- frozen Stouffers macaroni and cheese
- 2 to 3 slices of bacon
- skillet
- cooking spray
-
Step 1
mac n cheese with scrambled eggs and baconIt is easy to make a quick and delicious breakfast for yourself or your loved ones. My son's favorite recipe for breakfast is macaroni and cheese with scrambled eggs and bacon. For this recipe, the first step is to spray your skillet with cooking spray.
-
Step 2
Turn the heat on medium low and add a couple of slices of bacon. I cut the bacon in half because it gives you the illusion of eating more bacon. This is better for your health and your waistline.
-
Step 3
After the bacon is cooked, drain the fat out of the skillet. Drain the bacon on paper towels to remove any excess fat or grease.
Take out a package of frozen Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese. Stouffer's makes the cheesiest macaroni and cheese and this recipe always works better with this brand. -
Step 4
Remove the plastic on top of the tray of Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese.
Pop the tray into the microwave and nuke it for about 3-4 minutes. It just has to be almost cooked and easy to remove from the package. We will finish cooking it in the skillet. -
Step 5
While the Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese is in the microwave, crack two or 3 eggs into a bowl and whip them up with a fork. Put your skillet on medium low heat and add the eggs. Scramble them completely. It is important that the eggs be completely cooked before adding the macaroni and cheese. This will prevent you from getting food poisoning from raw eggs.
-
Step 6
After the eggs are throughly scrambled, take the partially cooked macaroni and cheese from the microwave. Put it into the skillet with the scrambled eggs. Stir it up together and cook until you see the macaroni and cheese bubble up in the skillet.
-
