If you are a blogger or the owner of a website, you may be eager to get backlinks from dofollow social bookmarking websites to specific blog posts and/or web pages of your blog or website. If so, you might be interested in using SocialMarker.com in order to obtain such backlinks from dofollow websites.

1. The first step is to visit socialmarker.com. Once there, you will see a short form in the upper righthand corner of the home page asking for book mark details about your link. Fill out the requested information, including the title of the specific web page or link, the link itself, some descriptive text about the specific link, and finally, some tags or descriptive terms about the link, separated by commas (as indicated).

2. The next step is to go to the part of the web page that states, "Select the social bookmarking sites you want to submit to." Of course you always have the option of selecting all of the bookmarking sites listed, or you can choose to submit to what SocialMarker.com has deemed the "best" of these sites. You could also submit exclusively to "news" sites. However, the final option listed is the one that you want to pay the most attention to if what you are seeking is backlinks to your blog or website. This option is called "DoFollow." Again, these are the social bookmarking websites that "do follow" links, which means that they will link back to your blog post or web page if you submit the appropriate information to them. (Hence the name "dofollow").

3. Let's say you only want to submit a specific link to the "DoFollow" social bookmarking websites. Click on the "DoFollow" option and checkmarks will appear next to each of the DoFollow websites. Then click on the link that says "Submit" (in the upper righthand corner of the screen). Note that you will need to register at each of the social bookmarking websites in order to submit links to them for social bookmarking. After registering for an individual "dofollow" social bookmarking website, you will then be able to submit your link to that website. Once you have successfully submitted to one, click on "Next" in the upper righthand corner, so that you can submit the link to one dofollow social bookmarking website right after the other.

Tips & Warnings

• Note that each of the social bookmarking websites has slightly different requirements regarding the information they would like you to submit about your links, so pay close attention to these requirements and follow the submission instructions precisely. For example, some of the social bookmarking websites like you to use commas between the tags, whereas others like you to use slashes, and still others like you just to leave a blank space between each tag. (You will also notice that the initial information that you submitted about the link is available at the bottom of each page, and sometimes you can simply copy and paste that information directly into each new submission form, but other times you will need to alter it slightly in order to fit each site's specific requirements.)
