Instructions

    • 1

If you live closer to the coast or seashore, then you can just pick up fresh oysters from their beds or habitat. Fishermen can also farm oysters. But why do you need to spend more time in raising them? It is more comfortable to just buy Oysters at the fresh market or Deli.

    • 2

Another way to get your fresh oyster is to buy at the supermarket. Some are opened and some are not. If you buy the closed one then you need ice pick/oyster knife or fork to use for opening the shell.

    • 3

Wash the oysters thoroughly and start opening them. You can half shelled them or just grill it as a whole. It is up to you which way is easier for you.

    • 4

After opening the oysters, you can add spices or seasoning like salt or MSG. Vinegar or other flavors you want. I usually just sprinkle it with salt and a bit of lemon juice before grilling it. You can season the oysters after or before broiling-Cooking.

    • 5

You can open the shell in half or half shelled when you eat it raw, cooked, broiled, or steamed but you can also grill it without opening the shells. Now arranged your oysters in your heated grill or open fire. You can cook or grill or broil anything in any way you want as long as it has fire or heat.

    • 6

Cook it or grill/Broil it for approximately 7 minutes or less but if you want to eat overcooked oysters, it's up to you.

    • 7

Grab your fork or spoon or just use your fingers to eat.

    • 8

Serve it hot or cold. Enjoy!
