Home with the kids and want to learn how to make edible peanut butter playdough with your children? A fun experience for the whole family on a rainy day! Snack time and playtime all in one!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 3/4 cups peanut butter
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups honey
  • 2 cups dry milk powder
  • Flour sifter (optional)
  • Electric or manual hand mixer
  1. Step 1

In a large (childproof) bowl, cream together peanut butter and confectioners' sugar with manual or hand mixer. Allow the kids to help measure out the peanut butter and sugar. They will love licking the peanut butter out of the measuring cup!

  2. Step 2

Gradually beat in honey with mixer until smooth. I spray the measuring cup with Pam before measuring out the honey. It prevents all that ooey gooey yummy honey from sticking to the measuring cup.

  3. Step 3

Allow the older kids to fold in milk powder gradually to avoid mess.

  4. Step 4

If you are making this the night before simply cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate or freeze until you and your children are ready to use.

Tips & Warnings
  • In place of honey try using maple syrup or corn syrup for a different taste.
  • Sift milk powder with flour mixer for smoother playdough
  • Children or adults with peanut allergies and/or honey allergies should NOT take part in making, playing with or eating this playdough.
