The great State of Idaho is known for the famous Idaho potato and the favorite way of eating potatoes just happens to be french fries. But, we also have to have the right stuff to dip our tasti taters in! No, not just ketchup, we have to have our "fry sauce".

Idahoans are so bad at this that one time we were in Disney World and got a cup of fries and looked around and couldn't find the fry sauce. What gives? They had no clue what we were even talking about. So, we went to the condiment bar and mixed up our own! Just couldn't eat those fries without it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard
  1. Step 1

Mix 1 part ketchup to 2 parts mayonnaise. A small batch to serve your family immediately would be 1/3 cup ketchup and 2/3 cup mayonnaise.

  2. Step 2

I like to add a little mustard to my fry sauce to give it a little extra zip. A tablespoon is plenty. This you can adjust to your own liking.

  3. Step 3

Blend with a wire whip until all ingredients are creamy. If you like a creamier sauce don't use as much ketchup.

  4. Step 4

Use instead of regular ketchup for dipping. Your family and friends will love it! No more boring french fries for you!

  5. Step 5

Make a larger batch and store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container. Add a little barbecue sauce for a little extra zing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always refrigerate immediately!
