Things You'll Need:
- Baby Hats
- Baby Blankets
- Strollers
- Sunscreen
-
Step 1
Look for a stroller that is easy to steer. Ideally, it will have double wheels that swivel, at least at the front, to help you turn tight, busy corners.
-
Step 2
Check the brakes. You should be able to brake the stroller with one hand or foot, without bending down, even if you are moving fairly quickly.
-
Step 3
Find a stroller with both reclining and upright positions, so your child can nap while you walk.
-
Step 4
Check the height of the handles or handlebar. You should be able to walk behind the stroller comfortably without slouching or kicking the tires. If other members of the family are extremely tall, look for handlebar extensions.
-
Step 5
Examine the stroller's storage area. Is it big enough to hold purchases, extra baby supplies and anything else you might bring along? Is it fairly secure?
-
Step 6
Think about transportation. If you'll need to move the stroller in and out of your vehicle frequently, make sure that it is easy to fold, fairly lightweight and fairly flat when folded.
-
Step 7
Check the dimensions. Choose a stroller that fits through doors of shops, restaurants and bathroom stalls.
