How to add a holiday to Microsoft Outlook calendar

Many people use Microsoft Outlook at work. It has an easy to use calendar built in for keeping track of meeting, events and occasions. What if you want it to keep track of holidays that aren't in there by default? Maybe Canadian boxing day or some obscure Russian holiday? In a few simple steps you can add any holiday to your calendar.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open up Microsoft Outlook. On the tools menu, click on options and then click on calendar options.

  2. Step 2

    In the calendar options menu, there will be a choice called "add holidays". Click on that selection.

  3. Step 3

    A menu box will pop up with a list of different countries and regions. Select the ones whos holidays you want to add to your calendar. This will add all of the holidays for that country or region to your calendar. Now, you will know exactly when Boxing day is so you can remember to ask your boss for the day off!
