Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

A toasted peanut butter and banana sandwich is a filling and delicious meal for the whole family. It only takes five minutes to make and is easy enough for older children to make for themselves.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two slices of loaf bread
  • One banana
  • Peanut butter
  • Toaster
  • Butter knife
  1. Step 1

Toast your two pieces of bread on a medium setting. Either white or wheat bread can be used.

  2. Step 2

While the bread is toasting, peel the banana and slice it. You can do a few thick slices or lots of little ones. If you prefer, you can cut the banana in half and slice the pieces lengthwise.

  3. Step 3

When the bread is done toasting, spread one side of each piece with your choice of peanut butter.

  4. Step 4

Place the banana slices on the peanut butter. If you have too many pieces to fit on one slice of bread, distribute them between the two slices. If you still have some left over, simply continue to stach them.

  5. Step 5

Put the two sides of your sandwich together and enjoy with a glass of milk.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add special ingredients to your sandwich such as: honey, apple slices, raisins or cinnamon and sugar.
