Things You'll Need:
- paper
- pen or pencil
- measuring tape
-
Step 1
Lay the piece of paper on the floor and stand on it. For the correct shoe size, you need to be wearing socks because that is what you will have on your feet when wearing shoes.
-
Step 2
Take the pen or pencil and trace the outline of your foot onto the paper. Be sure to hold the pen perpendicular to the paper in order to get an accurate outline of the foot.
-
Step 3
Draw a straight line at the heel of your foot, the tip of your longest toe, and the farthest edges of your foot on both sides.
-
Step 4
Using the measuring tape, measure the distance from the line at the heel to the line at the toe. Measure in inches to the nearest sixteenth of an inch.
-
Step 5
To find your foot's width, measure from one side's line to the other. Again, measure in inches to the nearest sixteenth of an inch.
-
