Things You'll Need:
- a sarong
-
Step 1
Start simple and make your sarong part of an outfit. Wrap the sarong around your body, just above your hips. Tie ends in a square knot, making sure to pull tight so your sarong won't fall down. This knot should be either on one side of your body or directly in the center of your pelvis area. Choose a cute matching shirt and hit the streets! To shorten your sarong skirt, simply fold the sarong in half before tying it on.
-
Step 2
If you are in more of a dress mood, put the sarong behind you and wrap it forward. Cross the two ends and then tie them behind your neck (in a square knot) to create a halter top dress. Alternatively, you can simply tie a square knot in the front of your body and wear your sarong as a strapless.
-
Step 3
Finally, if skirts aren't your thing, showcase your sarong by wearing it as a shoulder wrap. Tie the short ends to themselves. Now slip your wrists through the holes, centering back of sarong on your back. Voila! The perfect way to keep those shoulders covered while still staying cool on a hot summer day.
