Less light for peace lilies provides an environment that produces more flowering. These plants grow naturally in warm and humid regions.

Step 2
After planting and placing in appropriate area, mist daily if temperatures are above 60 degrees. The soil can be kept damp and watering two to three times a week will be sufficient. Fertilize the plant twice a month also encourages better growth.

Step 3
Remove any leaves that begin to turn yellow and make sure that it is not receiving too much sunlight. The plant may begin to double in size and repotting or dividing is recommended. Also, if the plant begins to develop mites you may spray with insecticide.
