Go to your phone's text messaging menu from the main menu.

Go to the "MMS" or "multimedia message" menu, or begin a new text, depending on the model of phone you have.

      • 3

Select the "add recipient" or "send to" field. Enter your desired email address in the text field.

      • 4

Click the paper clip, "attach file," or whatever option your phone offers and select your "image" from your image library. Click "attach" or whatever command your phone has to attach the photo to the MMS.

Hook up your cell phone to your computer via a USB cable. Most smartphones come with a USB cable when you purchase them.

Activate your microSD storage card per the instructions for your specific smartphone. In some cases, all you need to do is select "Turn On USB Storage" from an auto menu that pops up on your phone when you plug it into your computer.

      • 3

Find your phone's storage drive. Again, in most cases your computer will automatically give you the option to view the files and folders on your phone. Select that.

      • 4

Copy and paste your photo from your phone's folder into the desired folder on your computer.

    Tips & Warnings

    • In most cases, you can also simply open the photo on your cell phone, select your available options and email the photo directly from there. On some phones, the option will be named "email" or "share."

    • Sending your photo via MMS or email might cost you money depending on your service contract with your cell phone provider.
