Starting an anti aging skin care diet is relatively easy. Every day we are exposed to free radicals that damage and age our skin. If we can make some simple dietary changes by increasing the amount of foods that we eat that contain antioxidants we can slow that aging process. Not only will having an anti aging skin care diet improve the look of your skin, but it will improve your over all health as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Increase the amounts of Omega 3 fatty acid for your anti aging skin care diet. Omega 3s are considered to be the good fats. They lower your risk of heart attack, improve brain function, and help ease some symptoms of arthritis. They also help slow the aging process of your skin by increasing your skins resiliency. You can get more Omega 3 fatty acids by eating walnuts, olive oil, flaxseeds, and fish like salmon or tuna. You could also take a teaspoon of flaxseed oil once a day or a fish oil supplement.

  2. Step 2

Eat more vitamin A for your anti aging skin care diet. Vitamin A helps to rebuild tissue. Eat eggs, spinach, watermelon, apricots, sweet potatoes, corn, carrots, and leafy green vegetables to get your vitamin A.

  3. Step 3

Vitamin E is another fighter of free radicals and should be included in your anti aging skin care diet. Vitamin E can be found in nuts, extra virgin olive oil, leafy green vegetables, and avocados. If you are not eating enough of these, you can take it in a supplement. Vitamin E is also thought to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and prevent age spots.

  4. Step 4

Vitamin C is an extremely powerful antioxidant that helps your body to produce collagen. As we age, our body loses collagen which leads to wrinkles. Vitamin C can help to slow that process and improve our skin texture while reducing wrinkles. It will also give our immune system a boost. Citrus fruits are an excellent source of Vitamin C as well as broccoli, papaya, strawberries, and green peppers. You can take a vitamin C supplement along with a nice glass of orange juice a day as part of your anti aging skin care diet.
