Take a moment for yourself and process the news. The first step in the grieving process is usually denial or disbelief. You may want to double check the star's fan site or confirm news reports on multiple sites. we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.

  2. Step 2

Get mad. This is the second step in the grieving process. Express your hurt and frustration: write a blog post about how you feel, yell at the tv news report, hit a punching bag.
