Make Easter Egg Ornaments

Easter Egg Ornaments are a little hard to make but well worth the effort! They look beautiful hanging in the window or on a small plant. This is an excellent, inexpensive, rich looking craft! Perfect craft to make while your children are enjoying coloring their own hard boiled eggs!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White Eggs
  • Finishing Nail
  • Egg Dye
  • Jewelry Wire
  • Beads
  • Spray-On Adhesive (optional)
  • Glitter(optional)
  1. Step 1

Take a small finishing nail and make a hole at the top and bottom of the egg shell. In one hole blow the egg yoke out the bottom of the other hole.

  2. Step 2

Once egg yoke is removed soak the egg shell into soapy water. Then place egg in a safe place to air dry. Once egg is dry, color the egg with Easter egg dye. Let the egg air dry once again.

  3. Step 3

Run jewelry wire through the holes at the top and bottom of the egg. Attach beads at each end and crimp wire. At the top of the egg form a loop for hanging the egg.
