Step 1
Magic EraserPrepping :
First remove the shoe strings and insoles if removable. Then while the shoe laces are soaking in colorox water you can spray the shoes and insoles with shout or your favorite laundry aid. For stubborn stains and spots I've had really good results using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. -
Step 2
Washing:
Place each shoe inside a separate pillowcase before washing on gentle cycle. It's also helpful to toss in a few towels to help protect your shoes from getting to banged up in the washer. -
Step 3
Drying:
One of the easiest way to dry the shoes is to place them lying on their sides in front of the refrigerator where the hot air blows out at the bottom. You can also stuff the shoes with paper to help them hold their shape but be sure to not use newspaper as the ink on the pages can stain your shoes. -
Step 4
Spot Cleaning:
If you don't have the time to wash your shoes try a little spot cleaning. All that you will need to do is to spray some spot shot carpet stain remover on the soiled areas of your shoes and then gently rub with a paper towel or cotton cloth.
