In this article I'm going to show you how grow lima bean plants the easy way.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • lima beans
  • water
  • glass jar
  • paper towel
  • rubber band
  • sunny spot
  • dark towel
  • soil
  1. Step 1
    Beans in Jars
     
    Beans in Jars

    First you need to wash out the glass container to make sure nothing was left behind in it. Next, you need to place the lima beans inside the glass jar and fill three quarters of the jar. Let the lima beans soak in there for several hours.Put paper towels over the glass jar then put the elastic band over them to hold them in place. Drain the water out. Leave the paper towels over the glass container.

  2. Step 2

    Put the glass jar under the dark towel. Every morning add at bit of water into the jar for about 5 minutes then drain the water out. Repeat this until you start to see little buds comming out of the lima beans

  3. Step 3

    As soon as you see the little buds take the glass jar and put it near sunlight. Wait till your lima beans grow at least one to two inches then take the lima bean plant out and plant it in a pot with the soil in it. Leave the pot near sunlight and remember to water it often. Good Luck!
