Step 1
Removing screen doorTo remove existing door loosen the screws at the top and bottom of the door.This will allow the spring loaded rollers to drop down. Lift straight up on the door and pull the bottom out towards you.

New sliding screen doorOnce you have the door out. Measure the screen door. Height and width. Check to see if your local home improvement store carries that particular item. If they do not you need to order one from the manufacturer. This may take a little time to receive unless you have it shipped UPS or FED EX to get it as soon as possible.

Step 3
After purchasing and or receiving your new sliding screen door. Remove from Packaging and make sure it's the right size by measuring again. Slide the top of the door into the track and raise up on the door and push the bottom into the track. If it doesn't go loosen the screws at the top of the door and try again.

door lock handleSlide the door back and forth to make sure it operates properly. Adjust the screws at the top or bottom as to align or level the door evenly with the door jamb. Make sure the screen door slides adequately. Attach the new door handle according to the manufacturers instructions. Then you need to attach the striker plate to the jamb side of the door.

Step 5
Finished productClose screen door to jamb and mark the location where the door handle hits the jamb. You can measure each distance also to get the correct location of striker plate. Install the striker plate and check to see if door latch lock works. If not adjust accordingly.
