March Madness is one of the craziest playoff systems around. March Madness takes "the best" college basketball teams in the country and has a 65 team tournament to determine who is the NCAA national champion. The field keeps getting narrowed down until the championship game, meaning it goes from 65 teams, to 32, to the sweet 16, to the elite 8, to the Final Four, and then to the national championship game.

Many people enter pools with their friends, trying to have the most wins in their brackets. If you want to stay updated on March Madness information, there are several key resources that you should be utilizing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet Connection
  1. Step 1

    Go onto sites like www.espn.com

ESPN is great for March Madness because they have a plethora of information. They allow you to fill out your own brackets online and track the progress. They allow you to see scores and highlights. They offer professional advice all the way up to right before tip-off. They even show President Obama filling out his bracket and explaining why he chose the teams he did.

  2. Step 2

Next, go to www.cbs.com or http://mmod.ncaa.com/?source=mktg_09MMOD_AAcbs&refcode=09MMOD_AAcbs more specifically.

CBS is the broadcaster of the tournament. They have a ton of information available, just like ESPN, but they offer one key advantage. They have set up a sight that lets you watch many of the games, online, for free. This is a great tool because if you are at work or school, you can now watch the game from the comfort of your laptop.

  3. Step 3

Finally, TURN ON YOUR TV, IT'S MARCH MADNESS!!! Nothing beats sitting on the Recliner with some wings and beer and kicking it back while watching your favorite college basketball team embark on a momentous journey. Watch as many games as you can, as March Madness comes around only once a year.
