Create a box of loving words and images. This is a great gift for a father to receive from the mother of his children and his children as a joint gift. Buy a jar or any other type of small container or box. Cut strips of paper to about 1 inch by 3 inches. On each piece, write a note, draw a picture or just write a special memory. Put in as many as you want, fold each piece and throw them all in. Put a bow on the lid and decorate the container if you wish.

Create a few certificates for chores he hates to do. If he does not like cleaning out and washing his car, taking out the garbage or mowing the lawn, he can use those gift certificates to get out of doing it. Then, either one of the kids or the mother of his children can do it instead. Simply create the gift certificate on the computer, print the terms on it then present it on Father's Day.

Create a black and white photo of the father and each of his children. You can start preparing to make this gift weeks in advance to make sure you have the perfect shot; a candid photo usually works best. After you have the pictures, upload them then change each photo from color to black and white. Choose a dark colored frame--black will work well--and frame each photo individually. Wrap them in tissue paper, put them in a box and then top it off with a bow.

Make a monogrammed scarf. If you have the opportunity, you can make the scarf from scratch by either crocheting it or creating it from a plain piece of fabric. If not, you can buy a plain scarf in a store then, from a craft store, you can buy monogrammed letters of the father's initials and either sew or iron on the initials onto the bottom edge of the scarf.
