Choose your ribbon. If you want a more formal look, choose them all in one style. For something more fun, mix and match. Keep in mind that the wider your ribbon is, the bigger your headband will be.

Cut 6 pieces of ribbon, each 30 inches long.

Tie all the pieces of ribbon together 6 inches from one end.

Place the knot under a book to hold it secure.

Separate the pieces of ribbon into three groups of two, and braid the ribbon until about 6 inches of ribbon are left.

Make a knot at the end of the braid, and wear your new headband in your hair, using the ends to tie it.
