Replacing your Whirlpool refrigerator light will allow you to regain the needed light to see what is in your fridge. You will save money by doing it yourself, because the installation is quick and simple.
Following the proper steps will ensure a successful installation of your new light into the Whirlpool refrigerator.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver
  1. Step 1

    Unplug the Whirlpool refrigerator from the electrical outlet.

  2. Step 2

    Locate the bulb on the inside of the Whirlpool refrigerator.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the light cover. Usually these just snap off, but, on some models, they may need to be unscrewed. Use your screwdriver to unscrew the light cover retaining screws (if required).

  4. Step 4

    Unscrew the old light bulb.

  5. Step 5

    Screw in the new light bulb.

  6. Step 6

    Replace the light cover. Plug the Whirlpool refrigerator back in. Test your new light bulb.
