How to Spot a Millionaire

You're sick of working yourself ragged for very low pay. One solution is to marry a millionaire. Before you can marry one you have to spot her. Some tips will help you weed out riffraff and find those who have millionaire status.

Instructions

1. Look at the person's clothes and jewelry. High-class millionaires will have subtle but very expensive tastes. This will include designer dresses and suits, expensive yet tasteful watches, gemstones and rings and, of course, a killer pair of shoes.

2. Check out his car. A prime indication of someone's financial status is his automobile. If it's a luxury vehicle with the owner being chauffeured around, you can probably bet it belongs to a millionaire.

3. Watch the millionaire's behavior. Most of those who have been around millions for any length of time will not be flashy, crass, or loudly exclaim, "I am a millionaire." They don't need to flaunt their financial status. They will, however, often frequent the classiest, highest-priced clubs and restaurants, shop at the priciest boutiques and expect everyone to either wait on them or get out of their way.

4. Watch the behavior of others. If doormen, business owners and master chefs come running out to greet the person, you may be onto a millionaire. People will go out of their way to cater to a millionaire because, of course, they are hoping the nicer they are the better the chances of scoring a big tip or lots of business from the big, fat bankroll.

5. See who is with the person. Millionaire men and women, especially older ones, may have eye candy draped on their arm. The eye candy will be incredibly fit, usually a lot younger than the millionaire and bedecked in all the gaudy jewels the millionaire won't wear.

Tips & Warnings

• Not every millionaire will be as subtle as those used to their wealth. Those newer to millionaire status may have flashier clothes, jewelry and cars because they are playing like a kid in a candy store.
