Things You'll Need:
- Fresh flowers with sturdy stems
- Sharp non-serrated knife
- Rubber band or pony tail holder
- Ribbon, lace, netting or jewelled strings

Step 1
Place the flowers on your work surface.Check each individual flower and remove any bruised petals, thorns and leaves. You can strip all leaves away if you want to.Strip leaves by cutting or pulling them off by hand.

Lay the flowers stem to stem and cut the ends with a sharp knife to evenly match the height of each flower and stem. Use a ruler to measure each stem.

Gather the flowers in your hands and stand them on the work surface. Turn them and see how the grouping looks from all angles. Adjust as needed.

Hold the bouquet in one hand and wrap the rubber band tightly around the center of the stems to secure the entire grouping. You can secure them in the exact center of the stems or just under the petal area, about 3 inches from the actual blossom.

Lay the bouquet on the work surface or set it into a wide mouth container. Wrap ribbon around the area that you have secured. Tie the ribbon firmly in place.

Tie a bow or ribbon streamers in place at the front of the bouquet using the hand-tied ribbon ends.
