How to Make a Construction Paper Collage of a Star
Making collages allows you to express yourself. You can gather all of the items together and arrange them in such a way as to make a statement. An adolescent or teen can make a collage of her favorite musician or Hollywood star, while a younger child can make a collage of a beloved character, such as Barney or Elmo. This is a more distinctive, personal alternative to a store-bought poster of the celebrity.
Instructions

1
Collect some Hollywood gossip magazines that are sure to have your favorite star in them.
-
2
Cut out various pictures of your favorite star. Get him in different outfits, different clothing, and in poses with his friends.
-
-
3
Clip letters from the magazines that can spell out a saying your favorite star is famous for. For example, if you were making a collage of Arnold Schwarzenegger, you would cut out words to spell "I'll be back."
-
4
Cut out anything that reminds you of your celebrity. This could be a set of big lips for Angelina Jolie or a microphone for Miley Cyrus. If your star is a musician, include a picture of his instrument. If your star is an athlete, include pictures of his sports gear.
-
5
Arrange your pictures on a piece of construction paper. Overlap the pictures so that none of the construction paper is showing.
-
6
Glue the pictures on one at a time, using a glue stick.
-
7
Allow the collage an hour to dry. Hang with some sticky tack so you don't ruin the collage.
