Men who aren't blessed with naturally curly hair can always fake it if they don't want to go out and get a perm. By styling your hair in a curly style daily, it will tend to fall into that pattern naturally. The challenge is of course how to get the curls in the first place. Most men don't want to, or won't admit to using a curling iron, so that leaves just a few old standbys and patience.
Things You'll Need
- Blow dryer
- Round brush
Apply hair gel with your fingers to freshly washed towel-dried hair. The gel should be worked through so that all of your hair is evenly coated with it.
Use a small round brush to wrap the hair around while blow drying it in sections. The idea is not to brush the hair, but to hold it in a curled shape while it dries.
Unroll the brush from each dried section carefully so you don't actually pull the brush through your new curl. Allow this section to cool and set while you continue to the next section.
Repeat the process over the entire head, until all the hair is curled and dry.
Spray lightly with hairspray and finger-comb the curls into the desired position and style.
