How to Set Up a Gemini Mixer
Gemini Sound Products developed a reputation in speakers long before turning their expertise to mixers, and since that time they've become one of the leaders in audio products for DJs. Their equipment is consistently high-quality and dependable, but it can sometimes be confusing to set up. Gemini offers first class customer service and in-depth manuals to accompany every mixer sold, but all Gemini mixers have the same components that are connected in generally the same way. Does this Spark an idea?

2
Hook the microphone into the 1/4" jack connector input (which is one small hole) or the XLR input, which is a circle with three holes going into it.

3
Plug the amplifier into the RCA master output. Identify which output this is by referring to your manual.
-
4
Plug the RCA record output jack to a recorder. The manual for your particular Gemini model will identify which RCA output is the recorder output.

Depending on your Gemini mixer model, you will have phono RCA inputs and line RCA inputs. These allow turntables and other equipment to be attached to the mixer. Sometimes, a couple of the RCA inputs can be converted between a phono input and a line input. There will be a switch that you can flip to adjust the input to suit your equipment.

Attach the turntable and make sure that you screw the grounding forks into the grounding screw. Detailed instructions to do this will be in the manual for your particular mixer.

The headphone input is a 1/4" connector jack with a small image of headphones next to it. Attach headphones here if desired.

Turn the system on by pressing the power switch. Make sure the convertible switches are set to the correct input and slide the control forward for each channel, one channel at a time. Adjust the equalizer controls as necessary and adjust the volume.
