A London broil steak is a cut of beef that traditionally comes from the flank portion of the cow. Because the London broil comes from the flank, it is a very flavorful cut of beef. The first step in preparing a London broil steak is to make sure that the raw meat is prepared to be most tender after cooking. In order to get the best flavor and texture out of a London broil steak, cooking the steak should begin with tenderizing the piece of meat.
