1
Decide what size and color you want your ribbon rose bow to be. Experiment with different fabrics such as satin or velvet. The length of green ribbon is to represent the stem and leaves.
-
2
Take the 6 inches of ribbon for each rose. If you want a smaller rose, keep reduce the amount of inches until you are satisfied. Six inches of ribbon provides a medium-sized rose. Lay the ribbon in front of you.

3
Use the fingertips of each hand and slowly and evenly roll the ribbon up as you would roll sushi. The tighter the roll, the more intricate the rose will end up looking.
-
4
Dab a bit of hot glue to secure the rose shut onto the end piece after rolling and let dry. Next, squeeze one end of the ribbon rose with your fingertips to spread out the other side. This gives it the appearance of a rose. Position the rose until satisfied, then use the hot glue to secure the pinched part shut.

5
Take the green ribbon and tie it into a loopy bow. Glue the ribbon rose to the upper part of the green bow securely, hiding as much of the middle of the green bow as possible. Let it dry. It should resemble a rose with two green loops coming out of the side and two lengths of green ribbon hanging down below.

6
