How to Fold Fitted Single Sheets

Your fitted sheets need not look like a mess on your linen closet shelf. You may not realize it, but there is a way to fold them so they look neat and tidy. It is a simple step-by-step process, and once you know how to do it, you will be amazed you didn't think of it yourself.

Instructions

1. Fold the sheet in half with wrong sides together.

2. Put your hand inside the fitted corners at each end, sort of like a mitten.

   Fold the sheet in fourths, bringing the fitted corners from one side over top of the corners on the other.

4. 
    

   Leave the fitted corners together, which causes the rest of the sheet's edges to be folded under, giving you a square sheet to fold.

5. Fold the sheet as you would a flat sheet, keeping the edges and the corners folded under. You now have a neat and tidy folded sheet to place on your linen closet shelf.
