Your fitted sheets need not look like a mess on your linen closet shelf. You may not realize it, but there is a way to fold them so they look neat and tidy. It is a simple step-by-step process, and once you know how to do it, you will be amazed you didn't think of it yourself.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fold the sheet in half with wrong sides together.

  2. Step 2

Put your hand inside the fitted corners at each end, sort of like a mitten.

  3. Step 3

Fold the sheet in fourths, bringing the fitted corners from one side over top of the corners on the other.

  4. Step 4

Leave the fitted corners together, which causes the rest of the sheet's edges to be folded under, giving you a square sheet to fold.

  5. Step 5

Fold the sheet as you would a flat sheet, keeping the edges and the corners folded under. You now have a neat and tidy folded sheet to place on your linen closet shelf.
