How to Clean White Tennis Shoes
White tennis shoes show dirt more than any other shoe. These shoes need some attention in order to keep them looking their best. You will need to clean them regularly and use some stain removal methods from time to time when they get really soiled. If you take care of your tennis shoes, they will last twice as long.

- Laundry detergent
- Whitewall tire cleaner
- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
- Greased Lightning
- OxiClean
- Baking soda toothpaste

Turn your washer machine on and fill it with cold water. Pour in 1 cup of bleach and 1 cap full of laundry detergent. Place your tennis shoes in for a cycle, then dry them in the sun or near a heater.

Spray Whitewall Tire Cleaner on your tennis shoes. Wait for 15 seconds and wipe away. Do not scrub the shoes. Your tennis shoes will now be clean. You can buy Whitewall Tire Cleaner at an auto parts store.

Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the stains of your shoes. Just rub it over the stains and then wipe them off with a wet rag. Your shoes will look as good as new. You will find Mr. Clean Magic Eraser at any grocery store.

Spray Greased Lightning on your shoes as a pre-treater. Then, wash your shoes in the washing machine with a normal amount of laundry detergent. Dry naturally.

Place one scoop of OxiClean in your wash along with a cap full of your laundry detergent. Add the shoes, then dry them in the sun or by a heater.

Buy some baking soda toothpaste. Make sure it is all white. Dab some on your toothbrush and scrub on the stains on your tennis shoes. Rinse them off with cold water and then wash the shoes in your washing machine with a cap full of laundry detergent. Dry naturally.

Tips & Warnings
Wash your shoes twice per month to keep them looking brand new. Clean the stains as they arise.
Do not place your tennis shoes in the dryer. They can shrink and the soles of the shoes can melt if the heat is too high.
