1. Pick a theme. Baby showers for twins should definitely have some type of twin-related theme. A popular one is "two peas in a pod." Others could include "dynamic duo," "double the fun," "two little monkeys," "red fish, blue fish" or "twice as nice."

2. Choose appropriate invitations. Pick an invitation that matches your theme, and make sure to tell people it's a shower for twins. Attendees can then buy appropriate gifts. If you don't find it too gauche, you can even mention on the invite they should think of two of everything and may want to double up with another invited guest to invest in the gift so they don't have to spend twice the cash.

3. Decorate according to the theme. Let's say you picked the "two little monkeys" theme. Make sure to include large cutout monkeys on the wall, yellow crepe paper streamers with plastic bananas attached to them, a double-faced monkey cake and plush little monkey door prizes.
