The rock band KISS has been around for decades, and possesses a significant following of loyal fans and enthusiasts. KISS makeup can be used to attend concerts, as a Halloween costume or at a themed party. It requires very little preparation and supplies. The most recognizable KISS musician makeup is worn by Gene Simmons (the "Devil" look) or Paul Stanley (the star over the eye).

    Gene Simmons KISS Makeup

  1. Step 1

Prepare your face by washing it thoroughly and patting it dry.

  2. Step 2

Use a makeup sponge to cover your entire face with white makeup, from your hairline to your jawline.

  3. Step 3

Use the black eyeliner pencil to start the drawing on the face. Beginning an inch above the inside edge of your eyebrows, draw two vertical lines down each side of your nose, so there is a thin white line between them.

  4. Step 4

Start from the black line above each side of your nose, and draw outward and upward into a high curved point. Continue scalloping outward another two times. Repeat this on the other eye.

  5. Step 5

Move the black eyeliner pencil to the bottom point of the line on either side of the nose. Draw upward to meet back at the inner corner of the eye, and then draw outward and downward into a curved point that ends in the middle of the cheekbone. Repeat this on the other eye.

  6. Step 6

On each eye, create two curved tips, like small wings, coming from the outside corners. Color the entire area in with the black eyeliner pencil, or black face makeup, between the black tips around the eyes.

  7. Step 7

Create a poignant widow's peak on your forehead by using the black eyeliner pencil to draw downwards from your own, creating a slim triangle down to the middle of your forehead.

  8. Step 8

Finish by filling in the lips with black lipstick. Add a dot of red lipstick in the middle of your bottom lip and blend in.

  9. Paul Stanley KISS Makeup

  10. Step 1

Prepare your face by washing it thoroughly and patting it dry.

  11. Step 2

Use a makeup sponge to cover your entire face with white makeup, from your hairline to your jawline.

  12. Step 3

Draw a large five-point star around your right eye using the black eyeliner pencil and additional black makeup to fill in the area. Make sure to cover your eyelid, being careful not to get makeup in your your eyes. The star will extend onto your forehead, the side of your nose, down to the middle of the cheekbone and to the temple. Line the opposite eye with a thick amount of the black eyeliner, and add some to the eyebrow to enhance it.

  13. Step 4

Finish up the look by filling in the lips with the red lipstick. Add a dot of black lipstick to the middle of the bottom lip, and blend.
