How to Create a Soccer Birthday Cake

Things You'll Need
- 1 frozen pound cake, such as Sara Lee (thawed) Large knife Serving platter Parchment paper 2 cans of vanilla frosting Green food coloring Spatula Bowl Pastry bag with writing tip Soccer goal and player cake toppers

Remove the pound cake from the pan.

Cut the pound cake in half across the middle of the cake to form two layers.

Line the serving platter with the parchment paper.

Set the two halves of the pound cake side by side on the parchment paper.

Combine one can of vanilla icing with five drops of green food coloring.

Cover the top and sides of the two halves of the pound cake to create a single green iced cake.

Put half of the second tub of vanilla icing in the pastry bag.

With the writing tip on the pasty bag, draw a large rectangle to cover the entire top of the cake. Draw a line halfway across the width of this rectangle. Draw a large circle around the center line. Draw two large semicircles inside both of the ends of the rectangle. When you are done, you will have a soccer field drawn in white icing on top of your green iced cake.

Add the two soccer goal cake toppers on either end of the rectangle, and place the soccer player cake toppers around the cake.
