Millet seed acne is acne that is in its beginning stages and is characterized by the appearance of small, hard and white bumps that are felt under the skin. When left alone, the millet seed acne can either become reabsorbed by the body, progress into acne pustules or darken and turn into blackheads. There are many natural ways to get rid of millet seed acne that you can do in your own home.

Try a micro-fiber cloth. Micro-fiber cloths are designed in such a way that causes them to be extremely gripping to surfaces. There are many cloths sold over the internet that will pull out millet seed acne when rubbed against the skin's surface. Although they really work well to get rid of millet seed acne, you should only use a micro-fiber cloth around once a week to avoid irritation to the skin. See Resources below for links to micro-fiber acne cloths.

Try a baking soda exfoliator. If you mix baking soda with a little water, the result is a paste that can help eliminate and reduce millet seed acne. Gently massage this paste onto your face after washing. Use small, circular motions and try to be as gentle as you can. Scrubbing can actually exacerbate acne. After about 20 seconds, rinse well with clear water. Use an exfoliating baking soda massage every 2 to 3 days.

Try an oatmeal scrub. Oatmeal is both very healing to the skin and great at removing impurities under the skin's surface. All you need to do is to mix about 1/4 cup of ground oats with a little bit of water until the pats become slightly sift, then scrub the oats around your face gently for about 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water until your face is cleaned off. Give yourself an oat scrub every 3 or 4 days for millet seed acne-free skin.
