Instructions

1. Select card stock and patterned paper in darker, vintage designs and colors.

2. Make copies of any photos, treasured mementos or documents. Use the copies rather than the originals in all scrapbook pages.

3. Mat photos using patterned paper approximately 1/2 inch larger than the photos themselves, and attach them to a solid card stock background.

4. Journal on every scrapbook page. Tell the story behind the photos, include real memories or memories shared with you by others.

5. Decorate your heritage scrapbook pages with old-fashioned buttons, flowers, pearls or beads.
