Prices are also based on the number of ink colors required for your design. If you can keep your design to one color of ink, you will save a lot of money. The screen printer can produce a very nice design of one or two colors of ink. You can also get some ideas from online custom shirt sites.

Request screen printing of one side of the shirt. In some instances printing on the second side of the shirt can nearly double your cost.

If you want names on your shirts, there is a better solution. Ask your screen printer for pricing on name buttons. If he or she does not offer buttons, it may be worth your while to find a company that can produce buttons with each family members' name. Screen printing the names directly on the shirts can be very costly.
