- At least $35 for a MAC Pro membership

Step 1
If you are already an ethestician, cosmetologist, model, performer or makeup artist, the hard part is already done. There are a few other professions, that will allow you to become a MAC Pro artist by submitting your credetials to MAC cosmetics and paying a fee of $35 to become a MAC Pro. Other careers are nail technician, photographer, perfomer or on air talent, fashion consultant, or other beauty industry technician.

Step 2
So what if you are not in one of these fields? Try doing it part time. Start doing makeup for the people you know and get a photographer take photos. Get business cards advertising your services. Prom time is a great time to get business. Or you could go back to school or get a part time job at a photography studio or somthing similar to get the needed credentials.
-
Step 3
When you are ready go to the MAC Pro website (listed in the resource section) and sign up. Be ready to submit a business card, id, and other credentials such as a license, letter of employment, union card, head shot and resume, diploma or certificate, program or press material, call sheet or other items listed on the application.

Step 4

Good luck and get going!
