- Internet Access
- A Printer
- A Store that Accepts Coupons Printed from the Internet
- Pen and Paper
- A Coupon Organizer

Step 1
CREATE A SHOPPING LIST AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY WEEK. Take time every week to create a shopping list for the grocery store, drug store and department stores like Target and Wal-Mart.
-
Step 2
SEARCH THE STORE WEBSITE FOR COUPONS OR SALES. You can begin by searching your favorite store's website for printable coupons or sales for groceries, cleaning supplies and other items on your list. When you find a printable coupon or sale, make a notation next to the item on your shopping list.
-
Step 3
SEARCH COUPON WEBSITES FOR GROCERY COUPONS, COUPONS FOR HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES AND OTHER ITEMS ON YOUR SHOPPING LISTS. Coupon websites like CouponMountain.com and Coupons.com allow you to search by category or by product name. Again, when you find a printable coupon on one of the coupon websites, make a notation next to the corresponding item on your shopping list so you don't go searching for a coupon you already have!
-
Step 4
CHECK THE MANUFACTURER'S WEBSITE. After searching the store website and coupon websites, you should have printable coupons for most of the items on your list. For any remaining items, you can search the manufacturer's websites for printable coupons.
-
Step 5
PLACE THE PRINTED COUPONS IN YOUR COUPON ORGANIZER. Coupon organizers will are a folder with multiple pockets. You can assign each store its own pocket for easier shopping. Also file your shopping lists in the coupon organizer.
-
Step 6
PLACE THE COUPON ORGANIZER IN YOUR CAR OR ON YOUR HALL TABLE WITH YOUR PURSE AND KEYS. To save money with grocery coupons and other coupons found online via coupon websites, you need to remember to actually bring them along on your next shopping trip! So keep them in your car so you'll have the coupons every time the urge to shop arises. You can also put the coupon organizer in your purse or on a hall table or other location near your keys, wallet and other items that you'll take along next time you leave the house.
