Ever reconsider purchasing something online because the shipping fees are too high? Well, here’s how to get discounts on the price and/or shipping fees with promotional (promo) codes and discounts.

Instructions

1. First, find a site that lists promo codes for a wide range of stores. There are many available but by far, the best one, with the most current coupons is RetailMeNot.com

2. Next, look for the code that can provide the largest possible discount. Sometimes codes that are for 10 percent off are not as good as those that are $25 dollars off and so on. Check your total price and decide on the right coupon accordingly.

3. After you’ve placed your items in the shopping bag, look for the promo code box and type in your coupon. Sometimes, the site will allow more than one coupon to be used at the time of purchase. Type it in exactly as listed on the promo code website to make sure it will go through.

4. The discount will be reflected in the final page when you are about to pay.

• Even if a code has expired, try it anyway. Sometimes it will still go through.
