Honey butter is a delicious condiment for a basket of bread or rolls, a stack of pancakes and baked goodies. You can easily make your own batch of honey butter by following the simple steps below.

Things You'll Need:

  • Sweet butter ½ cup honey Microwave-able bowl Mixing bowl Electric hand mixer
  1. Step 1

    Use a microwave to soften the butter, which will make it easily workable. To do this, place the butter into the Microwave-able bowl and heat it for no more 15 to 20 minutes to gently soften it. Ideally, however, you should just leave it soften up at room temperature.

  2. Step 2

    Warm the honey gently make it easily workable. To this, hold the jar of honey under a stream of hot running water

  3. Step 3

    Place the softened butter into your mixing bowl. Pour in the warmed honey. Set the hand mixer on low and then use it to mix the two ingredients well.

  4. Step 4

    Continue mixing until you have a whipped honey butter combination, of a consistency that you want.

  5. Step 5

    Serve your honey butter with a basket of bread or rolls, a stack of pancakes, baked goodies.

Tips & Warnings
  • Spice up your honey butter with a pinch of cinnamon
  • You can substitute the honey with agave, a natural herbal syrup that is used as a sweetener.
  • Nevre feed honey to babies under the age of one.
