How to Put Pictures on a Digital Photo Album Keychain

Thanks to advances in technology, you no longer have to carry a large photo album to show off your pictures. Instead, you can simply load digital photos onto a keychain photo album. Many digital photo album keychains hold at least 100 photos. More advanced models can hold even more. This gives you the ability to enjoy all your favorite photos, no matter where you go. If you never used one though, the process of loading photos may seem a bit tricky.

Instructions

1. Install the software that came with the keychain. Inside the package that the digital photo album keychain came in there will be a CD. Follow the instructions inside the package to install the software onto your computer. The exact instructions will be different based on the model you have chosen.

2. Upload photos to the software. Once the software is installed, you can upload your photos usually by selecting "Upload" or "Browse." Search for the folder where your photos are stored and select the ones you wish to place on your digital photo album.

3. Adjust the photos with the software. Because digital photo album keychains have such small screens, most photos will need to be adjusted. The software will allow you to select the part of the image that you wish to view on your keychain's LCD screen.

4. Attach the keychain to the computer. Inside the package, you will also find a USB cable. Attach the cable to the digital photo album keychain and to a USB port on your computer. Make sure the connection is secure. Once the connection is secure, a notice will appear in your desktop's taskbar stating that new hardware has been detected.

5. Load photos onto the keychain. Use your software to download the photos to the digital photo album keychain. Depending on how many photos you have selected, this process could take a few moments.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure your photos are saved in a format supported by the keychain. Low resolution photos take up less space.
• Never unplug the USB cable before the download is complete.
