This is a drawstring bag to hold your Tarot cards or Runes stones.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • (1) 12 inch long by about 6inch wide (100 percent Cotton or Silk)
  • (2) 12 inch lengths of ribbon, or cord.
  • (2) beads holes need to be large enough to let cod/ribbon pass.
  • Lined Bags need 12 inch x 6 inch lining fabric (silk, cotton, etc..)
  • Thread
  1. Step 1

    Cut fabric/lining from cutting directions.

  2. Step 2

Fold fabric/lining at fold line and stitch 1/4th inch seams. Leave opening on lining to turn as in picture.
Remember to double stitch. If you want to box the corners stitch as in picture. Press as you go.

  3. Step 3

Match fabric and lining good side to good side and stitch 1/4th " around top.

  4. Step 4

Turn where you left opening, smooth bag and lining and measure down about 1 1/2" from top for the draw strings.
Stitch around bag thru fabric and lining and then measure 1/2" from 1st stitch line and do the same.
    This makes your drawstring casing.

  5. Step 5

Get your cord you choose and string it thru the casing starting on left/right then the other side ending where you started.
this should give you two draws 1 on each side. Add your beads to the ends of your draw and get your cards to their home. (see image in step 4)

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add appliqués to the front of your bags before you sew or embellish as you like.
