Tired of your burgers turning into large meatballs every time you grill? Here is a quick and easy way you can make a burger that cooks evenly and matches other burgers on the grill without looking like pre-frozen patties

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ground beef lean
  • Your favorite seasonings
  • a small plate to form patties
  1. Step 1

Combine the meat with your choice of seasonings. You can use salt and pepper or what ever you enjoy. Mix well in a bowl.

  2. Step 2

Separate the meat into equal portions. I use the palm of my hands with fingers cupped.

  3. Step 3

Pick a small plate or dish with an inner ring if possible. Look for a plate that has an inner ridge that you can use as a mold. Place a portion of meat onto the plate a press down while rotating the plate. Continue to press down and for evenly using your fingers.

  4. Step 4

Repeat as needed with each patty and form all of the meat into similar sizes. Make sure you do not make the patties too thick, or to small in diameter. Cook as desired. Look for the Tip Below!

Tips & Warnings
  • When cooking burgers do not cook at to high of a temperature. This is one thing that causes patties to shrink on the outside while puffing up in the middle. Also, try using a leaner meat or even a blend of ground beef and ground turkey.
