1
Wear expertly tailored, dark colored suits, even in the summer. Wear the best quality suits you an afford. Avoid wearing light grey, and only wear tan suits in casual settings or in the summer. Shirts should be white, crisp and well-fitting. Don't wear a short sleeved shirt under a suit jacket.
Wear bold-colored ties, but avoid pastels, which will telegraph that you aren't strong. Your pocket square should complement the tie, but not match it.

Most professional men opt for a clean shaven look. Hair should be short and you should avoid facial jewelry or showing off tattoos anywhere on the body. Don't wear a heavy cologne, and your clothing should always be clean and pressed. Bring an extra shirt and tie with you to work in case you spill your lunch.
Wear polished, high-quality leather shoes. Your brief case should also be the best quality you can afford, and in leather.

Walk into a room with confidence. Stand up straight and stick out your chest. Don't stick your hands in your pockets or cross your arms in front of you, because you'll look ill-at-ease or defensive. Greet people with a firm handshake.
